The Brazilian corn exports reached 2.28 million tons in August, according to number released by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. The daily average of shipments of the grain was 108,770 tons, compared to the 55,660 tons average of 2014. From January to August of 2015, the country sold 8.87 million tons of cereal to other nations. The National Supply Company (Conab) projects the total exports for 2014/2015 at 26.40 million tons.
